Louie Austen has been around for longer than you may realise. Now in his 60s, Louie has leaped from thriving as an enigmatic night club crooner to one of the most exhilarating performers dance music currently has to offer.
There's a lot going on in Louie Austen's life: Touring all around the globe, having released his latest album "Iguana" on klein records in 2006 & in 2007 the "Summer Love EP" and "Reality EP" feat. Senor Coconut & His Orchestra on his own label, LA Music – a division of klein records. 2008 will see the release of an EP Louie recorded with Vredeber Albrecht known from Commercial Breakup & former keys-man of Blumfeld. Of course master Austen is already also working on another
full-length album to see the light in 2009.
Tha Familty finds it great to bring these songs that Louie recorded in
the last years with different producers, to new life and to give them a facelift.
The current setlist features a cross section of Louies' work including hits such as Hoping, Amore, Heaven Is The Backseat Of My Cadillac, Glamour Girl and Brazil.

Born in Grieskirchen 1979. After finishing her studying at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz she moved to Austrians capital and got involved in different projects like the favorhythm gospel singers, Anjandee, Tha Family, Atlantis and Team Legat. In april 2005 she decided to move to m.a.r.s., a commune of artists and musicians in Germany´s far west where she started to concentrate on writing and producing original stuff. Beside singing, writing and touring with bands like Cassandras Legacy, Mars Allstars, We Rock and Urlaub in Polen she is busy taking care of her little son. Recently she became a member of Thomas D´s new live band.
Tom Beck, an austrian singer-&songwriter has been working with tha family since 2009. Mean- while he produced 3 albums and is working on the 4th.
